The Psychology of Flower Essences
Part 1. Introduction to Flower Essences – 6 weeks x 2 hours
This 6 week face to face course is a basic introduction to flower essences, how they work and how and when to use them. Although the focus is on Bach Flowers, corresponding essences will be discussed. You will receive flower essences to trial throughout the course.
Day 1 - What are flower essences and how do they work? Introduction to Bach Flowers and Bush Essences, overview of remedies for Fear - Rock Rose, Mimulus, Cherry Plum, Aspen, Red Chestnut.
Day 2 - Homeostasis. What is a space? What is a type? Overview of remedies for Uncertainty – Cerato, Scleranthus, Gentian, Gorse, Hornbeam, Wild oat and corresponding Bush essences
Day 3 - Introduction to the Johari Window. Triggers. Overview of remedies for insufficient interest in present circumstances– Clematis, Honeysuckle, Wild Rose, Olive, White chestnut, Mustard, Chestnut Bud and corresponding Bush essences
Day 4 - Overview of remedies for Loneliness– Water violet, Impatiens, Heather, AND overview of remedies for Oversensitivity – Agrimony, Century, Walnut, Holly and corresponding Bush essences
Day 5 - Over view of remedies for espondency or despair– Larch, Pine, Elm, Sweet Chestnut, Star of Bethlehem, Willow, Oak, Crab apple AND overview of remedies for Over Care for welfare of others - chicory, vervain, vine, beech, rockwater and corresponding Bush essences
Day 6- continue from Day 5, plus Rescue Remedy. Case history taking ; Dosages ; making a base and how to make a remedy for yourself and families.
